I know we have had a fair amount of rain just lately and in fact when Graham and I were walking the dogs at the weekend the woods were considerably muddier than they had been and began to think that winter is on the way.
Today I got up and it was raining and I listened to Radio 1 where they were talking about sunny weather and to my delight by lunchtime today it was sunny and warm in Kent.
A sunny day is a real treat this time of year.
Many of us get up and go to work in the dark and by the time we set off home it is also dark so being outside at lunchtime in the sun and with no need for a coat was great!
